Despite a tough economy, Corona has added more than 1,300 jobs in the past six months through relocations and expansions involving nearly 1 million square feet of office and industrial space, city economic development officials report.

Zumiez is based in Everett, Washington with their distribution hub in Corona, CA. There are currently more than 389 Zumiez stores in 25 states across the country. Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers, such as solid-body electric guitars, including the Stratocaster and the Telecaster. The company, previously named the Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company, was founded in Fullerton, California, by Clarence Leonidas "Leo" Fender in 1946 and relocated to Corona in the mid 1980s.
