Public Transit

Metrolink Trains

Metrolink is a regional transportation effort made possible by the Los Angeles Count Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), the Orange County Transportation Authority, the Riverside County Transportation Commission, San Bernardino Associated Governments and Ventura County Transportation Commission. The City of Corona is served by two Metrolink stations. North Main Street and West Corona are two of the stations that receive high daily boarding counts for the work commute. Ridership at the North Main station is the highest of the 14 stations on the line. The increase in ridership has prompted the Riverside County Transportation Commission to build a multi-story parking structure that will provide safe parking for those using Metrolink. Riverside Transit Agency

Riverside Transit Agency is responsible for providing efficient and effective transit service for all citizens in western Riverside County. Without an efficient transportation system, moving people from home to work, school, shopping, and recreation would be a difficult task. RTA continues to make great strides in fulfilling the transit needs of all residents in western Riverside County. While continuing to maintain and operate fixed route and ADA Dial-A-Ride services, RTA is now focusing on the regional transit needs for the future and planning how to meet those needs. Now in design review, the Corona Transit Center will include eight bus bays and provide access to the nearby North Main Metrolink Station. The City of Corona's Fixed Route Service, Corona Cruiser, is designed to meet the various transit needs of the community. The Cruiser runs along pre-designated Blue Line and Red Line fixed routes. During peak commuting hours, both routes offer commuter service to and from North Main Corona Metrolink Station. Park and Ride areas are strategically located parking lots (either privately or State owned) that are free of charge to anyone who parks a vehicle and commutes by transit, vanpool or in a carpool. Sites are available to commuters 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, unless otherwise posted at the site. Parking at Metrolink stations is strictly for rail users only. Click here for more information.
