Corona City Council
The City of Corona is a General Law City operating with a City Council/City Manager form of government. The City Council and City Treasurer are elected at large for four-year terms. (terms of office for elected officials) The City Council meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, Council Chamber, 400 South Vicentia Avenue, Corona, California. Corona's City Council Members are community leaders who listen to all citizens of the City, prioritize plans and projects, allocate funds, and make decisions essential to the future of Corona. The California Government Code authorizes the City Council to delegate the responsibilities for making and receiving of disbursements and receipts, and for investment of surplus funds to the City Treasurer. The City Treasurer acts as the fiscal agent for the City.
Riverside County Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the County, certain special districts and the Housing Authority. The Board enacts ordinances and resolutions, adopts the annual budget, approves contracts, appropriates funds, determines land use zoning for the unincorporated area, and appoints certain County officers and members of various boards and commissions.
