When looking for recreation the City of Corona has plenty to do within its City limits, and also has the location to reach an assortment of venues with limitless activities. Corona residents have the abiltiy to hike the trails of the Cleveland National Forrest, play a round of golf or just lounge at one of the many parks in the city. The quality of life in Corona is amongst the top in the Southern California region with easy access on two major freeways.


Parks & Recreation

The City of Corona Parks & Community Services Department is as diverse as the community it serves. Corona has 37 parks covering 346.6 acres or one acre of park land for each 425 residents. Designated “Tree City USA” by the National Arbor Day Foundation, the system includes urban forests, regional and sports facilities plus neighborhood parks.


Golf Courses

Corona prides itself as a golfers haven with 8 golf courses in the City. There are championship courses designed by some of the largest names in the game. Mathew E. Dye designed the Dos Lagos Championship Course and it truly plays like a championship course with narrow fairways and tough greens. The beauty of Trilogy's 18th hole ending at the clubhouse is breath-taking capping a day on the links.


Sport Teams

At the crossroads of two important transportation corridors in Southern California, Corona is close to several professional sports teams. Within one-hour drive time there are 15 professional sports organizations. No matter what time of the year you will have a sports team to route for while living in Corona.
